For Families

You know your family.
We'll help you find the place.

Most families begin this search overwhelmed — often late at night, at the kitchen table, not sure where to start. The Wright Step is built for that moment.

Our iPhone app is currently in private testing across Southwest Florida. Public release is coming soon.

What It Costs You

Nothing. Ever.

The Wright Step is free for families. There is no account fee, no premium tier, and nothing held back until you pay. Senior living communities pay an annual subscription to be listed — that is how the service is funded.

What matters more than the price is what the arrangement means. Because communities pay a flat annual fee rather than a commission, no one earns more when you choose one community over another. Nobody is steering you.

How It Works

Four steps, at your pace.

I.

Tell us about your search

Choose your area and how far you're willing to look. Tell us the level of care you need and your budget range. If there are specific needs — Medicaid acceptance, VA benefits, a pet coming along — you can note those too.

II.

See communities that match

Real listings sorted by distance from you. Photos, care levels, pricing ranges, and any current move-in offers. Everything a community wants you to know, in one place, without a sales call first.

III.

Save what feels right

Mark the communities worth a second look. Share them with a spouse or a sibling. Come back to them tomorrow. This decision usually takes more than one sitting, and it should.

IV.

Reach out when you're ready

Your message goes directly to the community — your name, your contact details, and whatever you choose to share. No intermediary reads it first. No one sells your information onward.

What We Ask You

Only what helps communities help you.

Beyond the basics, you can tell us more about what you're looking for — the size of community that feels right, whether faith matters to your family, language preferences, whether a pet is coming, what activities matter, and the kind of daily support your loved one needs.

All of it is optional. You choose what to share, and you can skip any of it.

What we never collect

We do not ask for diagnoses or medications, and we never will. Communities may ask you directly as part of their own admissions process — that is between you and them. It does not pass through us.

If You Need a Hand

Sometimes you need a person.

If your loved one is being discharged from a hospital, or the process simply feels like too much, you can ask us for help. We'll walk you through how to use the app, explain what the different care levels actually mean, and tell you what to ask when you tour.

What we won't do is tell you which community to choose. That is your decision, and keeping it that way is the reason we built this the way we did.
